Halloween Night

Published by lilairthepoet at 5:04 pm under Poems Edit This

Halloween can be a lot of fun, but  scary too.  With all of the variety of costumes, creepy decorations, and chilly air within the dark, Halloween can be full of frights.  While much of it is always just our imagination, sometimes it may just run away from us!… Remember that Halloween is just about fun- there really isn’t anything scary out there!…..

Enjoy the fun Halloween poem below…

HALLOWEEN NIGHT  …

The air is full of anxious and fun frighting this dark and creepy Halloween night.

A full  glowing moon rises high in the dark nighttime sky.

Black birds overhead, flying and squawking at an unknown hidden image

that only they can see.

Down on the grounds below, children are all in joy

dressed in their favorite character costumes

hoping for some delicious candy treats.

A black green-eyed cat crosses the walk and passes on by,

Little children try to stop and pet, but the kitty runs away, highly annoyed.

While this Halloween night may seem full of frightening fear,

There’s really nothing to be scared of to cause a tear.

Gather your yummy sweet candy treats,

Stay close to friends, to stay safe within the night.

It’s all about fun, a few clean tricks,  and a chance to play dress-up for a bit.

So while you may fear that ghosts may hang high in the skies,

There’s none really there—

It’s just the wind and the chill blowing in the cool air.

After-all-

it’s just Halloween night.

There’s no reason to be at fright.
