Join in the first ever community written poem here at ” A Poet’s Word.”  

This could be a fun “social poetry experiment.”  I used to write poems with friends through emails and and we would all take turns writing lines.  I thought it would be a neat idea for writers within this community to write a poem together. 

For starters, I will begin the first line, and then from there, lines of poetry can be added through the comment field.  It will be neat to see the twists and turns that this possible poem could take….

So if you are feeling creative, and would like to join in the blog’s first community written poem, click on the “Create a Poem” section on this blog, and begin adding lines to the current “untitled” poem so far.

The first line starts as:

“Into the darkness, I wept…”
